As a result of this cold spell (Is a spell 2 months long?) I have been reading like crazy. Just this morning I finished The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah. It was a quick moving story about two sisters in France during WWII. I recommend it if you like historical fiction. I love historical fiction, especially WWII novels. If you haven't read All the Light You Cannot See yet, go buy it very soon, it was a beautiful novel.
I use the Goodreads app to keep track of books that I read and to look for new ones coming out. At the beginning of the year I started a challenge on Goodreads to finish 30 books this year. Last year I had a bit of a reading slump so I thought this might motivate me more to dedicate some time to reading. I also have a large pile of unread books next to my bed, I am hoping that I can reduce the pile with a successful challenge. I have put myself on a book diet, trying not to buy so many books until I reduce the pile. If you follow me on Instagram you know that I have broken my diet. Sigh. What can I say?
