Once the time changes and we gain some extra daylight, we like to take our furry friend on a walk in the evening. I've always liked sunset. Things quiet down as the night approaches. It is a peaceful time. I brought my camera along to see what was popping up along Frog Hollow.
Our lilac is making some slow but steady progress. Buds are getting bigger. I can't wait for an actual flower, even though they make me sneeze like crazy.
The ground is thawing out.
Robins are back in the neighborhood.
I don't know what tree this is but the buds look like little fireworks.
These are pussy willow a step past their little furry buds.
This red winged black bird was singing away.
Down our street is an old cemetery. I know it's not that time of year, but I thought these spooky pictures were cool.
Sunset over the Hudson Valley.
