No more teachers, no more books! My class is over and done, woo hoo! Back to business here at Under the Rainbow headquarters. My other half, whom I shall refer to as Floyd, and I mulled over whether we should put a sign out by the road for quilters who were coming by to drop off quilts. I wasn't really into that idea, so instead he built a bird house, um, apartment building, and painted it in rainbow colors. It was installed the other day with the help of our neighbors who happen to have a tractor. Quite the sight to watch it hoisted onto a tree stump.
It is a great landmark, you can see it driving down our street. Even the town plow truck slowed down to check it out.
Can't wait to see who moves in.
As we are being buried in snow here in New York today I was lucky to be able to stay home and work on a quilt. It's a present for a friend so I will show more pictures after delivery.
When I was out Valentine shopping for my girlies, I did pick up a little something for me. It just looked like it needed to come and live in my sewing room.
How cute is that? One girlie made us some Valentine cupcakes during her snow day today. Yum. I love Duncan Hines.
The only one who enjoyed the weather today was our four legged child. She wasn't bothered one bit.
Have a Happy Valentine's Day! Hope there is chocolate in your plans.
