Hello Tuesday! It's a beautiful day here in the Hudson Valley. What's everyone doing today? I'm going to try to finish planting my summer annuals outside. I got about half way done last week but then we had rain (again) and I worked at the 'other' job over the weekend.
I have finally delivered a quilt that was started over the holidays to its recipient.
This was made for a friend who is Canadian, but got his American citizenship in January. The pattern is 'Modern Maples'. I used a bunch of red fat quarters for the leaves and Kona white for the background. I quilted it with 'Loops and Stars' to add a little American flair to it.
This next quilt belongs to Jody. It was quilted with a pattern called 'Champagne'.
This was the first time I used it and I really love the way it turned out!
It was 'Clamshells' the next day on a quilt I made using a 'Happy Go Lucky' layer cake. The pattern is 'Piece of Cake' by Camille Roskelley.
I'm working on the binding now so more pictures to come. Time to head outside. Floyd is already at work scrubbing our porch which has been bombed by this robin for the last week. Hoping she gets busy with her babies soon and stops attacking our house!
Have a beautiful day!
